Peter Newham started Peter Newham Piano Services back in 1979.
During the last 40 years Peter has earned a strong reputation in the piano industry, for his ingenuity and creative engineering. So much so that he was sought after by Seiler in West Germany, as a consultant to advance and improve their concert pianos.
Peter has tuned for most of the worlds leading pianists & more than 1000 live and recorded concerts for the BBC.
He has also hand crafted 2 of his own grand pianos, one of which has revived a split pedal system that hasn't been used for over 200 years. His pianos have been used in many concerts around the UK.
BENJAMIN NEWHAM
Taught by his father Peter, Benjamin has been refining his piano tuning and repair expertise since 2012.
As well as servicing private clients, Ben has also been tuning for Cheltenham Jazz festival, Music Festival and Cheltenham festival of Performing Arts for the last 10 years. Other clients include 'Big Feastival' and many high profile clients/artists.
Ben is trained to the highest standard in tuning, repairs and regulation.
